Great construction activity developed in Borisov. Two days before New 2011 in the foundation of the new building was laid traditional capsule with a message for future generations. In 2013 this capsule will be under the weight of a new tablet production building. Total investment required for the implementation of the project makes 60 million USD. New production will be developed according international standards.
More precisely it will be according GMP standard (good Manufacturing Practice) is international part of a quality system covering the manufacture and testing of pharmaceutical products according pharmaceutical guidelines. The new modern pharmaceutical production of European level, that can distribute its competitive products for markets all over the world. For ordinary users it means the benefit of the high quality products and new high efficient medical preparations.
According project the new production will produce milliards of tablets and 70 million drugs in capsule form. Original medical preparations and generics desired for production in new department with compound identical to foreign drugs. Generics are the drugs in demand. Each generic has the same compound as original drug and has the same medical effect but much cheaper than the original drug. Each year Borisov factory masters 5 -6 generics, it takes about three years to launch their production: purchase of new equipment; the raw material is purchased from the leading manufacturers.

Last year the factory launched the production of 9 new import substituting drugs/ Among them medical drug - Aspicard.
Active ingredient of this drug is acetylsalicylic acid, with dose 75 mg or 150 mg. It is used to help prevent heart attacks if there are risk factors (diabetes, arterial hypertension, obesity, smoking, old age), after a heart attack to reduce the risk of another heart attack. It is indicated as prophylactic in case of unstable angina, stroke, deep vein thrombosis. As prophylactic by thromboembolis, after surgical operation (for example, coronary artery shunting, carotid endarterectomy, arterio-venous bypass surgery, angioplasty of the carotid arteries, thromboemboliic sindrom (in continuous immobilization after a serious surgical intervention)/
By the way
Few years ago Borisovskiy Zavod Medicinskikh Preparatov has created the service of internal pharmaceutical control. It is a good example of rigid self-control for the Belarusian manufactures. The main goal of this service – to collect information about non-typical adverse reaction and about non-efficiency of drugs. During the work of this service such evidences have been not identified.
