The joint stock company “Borisovsky Zavod Meditsinskikh Preparatov” (Borisov Plant of Medical Substances) has fully deserved to use this privilege. The status of a leading pharma­ceutical company in Belarus with 45 years of successful work on the market is a result of professional activity of this enterprise that spe­cializes on the development and production of effective drugs.

At present, the Company supplies over 200 items of medical drugs of 11 pharmacological groups: generics and original drugs to its cus­tomers in Belarus, CIS countries, Baltic republics and the United States. The enterprise constantly adds new products to its production line with at least 10 new items annually. More than 4 billion pills, 390 million ampoules, 80 million capsules, 20 million vials of antibiotics in sterile powders, 8 million of ointment tubes are produced by the Borisov plant annually to help improve the health of people around the world.

The Company is aiming for constant develop­ment and modernization: it has tackled 300 different production technologies and is im­proving by adding new ones; equipment is constantly upgraded; GMP certification is being successively implemented.

It is necessary to note that Belarus is still the priority market for the Company. Providing lo­cal population with cost-effective and afford­able quality products is one of the strategic goals of the enterprise.
